WE'RE DEBT FREE!.....almost.

Last summer we took Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University with Tara & Kevin (Trav's sister and hubby). We just needed to shout from the roof tops that:

WE ARE CREDIT CARD DEBT FREE!!!!

We still have a car payment and some student loans to go. Besides what a genius I am for starting a blog and getting it on the first try, this was our major accomplishment for the night.... I almost forgot to brag about how terrific my husband is at not getting me to buy shoes, because its "not in the budget." I've heard him say that more times than I cared to have over the last 9 months, but now I can sit here and tell him... YOU WERE RIGHT! (Do I need to say it again?)

So, we paid off our last credit card tonight and paid for our upcoming vacation with cash!

Our New Blog!

Hi Friends & Family.
Travis and I are going on a trip.... We're headed back to Cabo San Lucas February 28- March 7. We're staying at the RIU Palace in Cabo and can't hardly stand the wait. (24 Days and counting...if you wanted to know.)

We're hoping that we get this "BLOG" thing figured out before we leave so that we can post a few pics and tell a few tales while we are gone. (Apparently I'm quite the writer, and we've already had requests that we share our adventurous tales.) Although, I hope that isn't the case... this trip will hopefully be a LOT less eventful. Cross your fingers...its not rainy season and I don't plan on doing much more than getting a great tan and reading books. Travis on the other hand has these grand ideas of fishing trips, snooba (snorkeling with an air hose) sight seeing and various other treks. Since I'm afraid of the deep end of the bath tub....It may not happen for him. My opinion, when everything is at the resort...WHY LEAVE? I guess we'll see who wins.

Oh....and if you have any blogging pointers... point away. Don't think I did too badly for the first time through... Travis hates the background...very girly. We'll work on finding something that fits both our personalities... but for now.... I started it, I get to pick!! :o)
